Also, the process of swimming players has changed dramatically. The animation has become more realistic, and it has also become possible to swim through places that are only one block high.
At the bottom of the oceans in Minecraft PE 1.4.2, you can find algae that have a beautiful leaf movement animation. This plant grows on blocks of earth, gravel, sand, and coral.
Kelp can be overcooked in an oven and then blocks of dried seaweed can be used as fuel. Also, this plant will be useful in the construction of water elevators, as it turns any block of water into a source of liquid.
FACT: With one block of dried algae, you can smelt as many as 20 items in the furnace.
At the bottom of the oceans of Minecraft PE 1.4.2 you can meet new dungeons. They are the ruins of ancient civilizations.
They sometimes contain chests with valuable resources, so it is not always advisable to risk your life exploring dangerous deep waters.
In Minecraft PE 1.4.2, a previously unseen biome appeared – an iceberg. There you can meet polar bears, as well as get a large amount of dense ice for buildings and mechanisms.
Icebergs are small in size and quite rare. You can find them only in the oceans of Minecraft PE 1.4.2
