Microsoft itself refrains from making statements on this matter, but does not refute the available information.
Apparently, Microsoft has not given up on the idea of releasing the famous Minecraft on Xbox Series S/X. This is evidenced by the mention of the project on the websites of two rating companies at once – the German USK and the American ESRB.

These sites, however, do not provide anything new, other than the fact of the development itself. However, gamers hope that the updated version of their favorite game will support ray tracing technology.

For the first time, Microsoft itself showed screenshots of Minecraft with ray tracing support in the spring of 2020. At that time, the company was promoting the Xbox Series X. However, this version of the game never went on general sale. Since then, rumors have periodically surfaced online that the American corporation will eventually release this project.

Minecraft is a world famous sandbox game developed by Mojang Studios. The PC version was released in the fall of 2011. As of 2023, Minecraft has been ported to numerous platforms, from PlayStation 3 to Nintendo Switch.
